    Enhancing Bone Health:

    The Role of Fracture Liaison Services in Endocrinology

    Presented by the Metabolic Bone Program Directors from from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and University of Vermont Health, this webinar will include a comprehensive review of the importance and utility of fracture liaison services in the proper identification and management of patients with fragility fractures focusing on secondary fracture prevention.


    Dr. Jennifer Kelly is the Director of the Metabolic Bone Program and the Chief of the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes for University of Vermont Health. She is also a Professor of Medicine at the Larner College of Medicine.  Dr. Kelly has been actively involved throughout her career in the care of patients with metabolic bone disorders and the education of clinicians in this field. She is also the first ambassador from the state of Vermont for the Bone Health Osteoporosis Foundation.  Dr. Kelly is the current president of NEEA and will soon transition into the immediate past president role.

    Dr. Ugis Gruntmanis is the Director, Bone Health and Osteoporosis Professor of Medicine at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He is also Adjunct Professor of UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Gruntmanis has also served as the President of the Latvian Medical and Dental Association.
